6/29/2009 Is this a good time to sell?
It could be.  Are you concidering "moving up?"  The answer is probably "Yes."

Are you looking to downsize?  Well then, it can depend on your neighborhood.

The key to a quick sell and for the optimum price is a nice, well priced product.  I like to sell at the top of the market, meaning, the house is updated and move-in ready.  There are companies that will put in new flooring, and wait up to 6 months or closing, which ever is first for payment.  Make sure your paint and carpet is perfect.  Keep it neutral.  Declutter...  Think of it this way.  The more you pack up now, the less you will have to move when it comes to crunch time.
